A Couples Session With a Little Secret
Emma thought she was heading into Grand Teton National Park for a couples photography session. What she didn't know was that Bryce had been secretly planning something much bigger.
Before their session, Bryce reached out to me to coordinate the perfect moment to propose. We planned for it to happen on a rustic wooden bridge, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Tetons.
The best part? Emma had absolutely no idea what was coming!
The Sweetest Surprise in the Tetons
As we made our way through the park, the mountains were covered in low-hanging clouds, creating the most beautiful, moody backdrop.
When we reached the bridge, everything came together.
Bryce got down on one knee, and what Emma thought was an ordinary couples session turned into a moment they'll remember forever.
Getting to capture her reaction, the excitement, and all those little moments afterward was so special.
After the proposal, we continued exploring and taking photos together, letting them soak in everything that had just happened. Between the golden grasses, mountain views, and clouds rolling through the Tetons, the entire afternoon felt like something out of a movie.
Planning a Surprise Proposal in Grand Teton National Park?
If you're thinking about proposing in Jackson Hole or Grand Teton National Park, having a photographer help plan the moment can make the experience feel so much easier.
From choosing a beautiful location to figuring out the timing and keeping the proposal a secret, there are so many little details that go into creating a memorable experience.
And honestly, you don't need perfect sunshine for beautiful photos. Sometimes the cloudy, moody afternoons turn out to be the most magical.
As a Jackson Hole-based photographer, I love helping couples plan and capture surprise proposals in Grand Teton National Park.
If you're dreaming of your own mountain proposal, I'd love to help bring it to life!
